Now that you're pre-approved for a loan and hired a fantastic Realtor, it's time to figure out what kind of house do you want. Now the perfect home doesn't exist, and unless you have unlimited money, you're going to have to make some compromises, which is why I recommend making a list of must-haves and wants. Your must-haves can be your none negotiable items that you need to have in a home. Try and limit these to two or three essential items. The more must-haves you have, the harder it'll be to find. Then make a list of "wants" of "preferences." These are things you'd like to have but aren't deal-breakers.
